Introducing the people behind the scene; Together, Tech7 and the Future Technologies Center have joined forces to create a contest that will encourage young start-ups in two specific ways. Firstly, participants will be able to move out of the planning stage and towards actualizing their products with the first prize winner taking home up to 500,000 shekel prize. And secondly participants have the added benefit of sharing invaluable amounts of knowledge across disciplines, personal consultations with industry experts, and guidance creating business plans.
The official tech community and entrepreneurship of Beer-Sheva and the south was founded in January 2015, by a group of leading representatives from the Hi-Tech Park, students and local entrepreneurs. The will and vision was to strengthen and develop the tech community in the Beer-Sheva, and to substantiate the entire area as a technological leader on an international level. Today the community has over 14,000 members, and over 185 startups.

The board members come from a technological and business background in different market branches.
